Question by E C: What is the difference between a MLB player using HGH to heal faster vs. a Cortizone shot to get back fater?
There seems to be a double standard here regarding the use of these two substances? They both seem to be means towards the same end, so why is one banned (HGH) and the other allowed (Cortizone)?
Best answer:
Answer by Troy
Cortisone is used to suppress inflammation, it is not anabolic in any way like growth hormone is.

Question by James C: Will HGH releasers increase the size of my hands?
I am 22, male and thinking about taking HGH supplements. Injections are too expensive so I am deciding between oral sprays and natural human growth hormone releasers. I read that after age 18, actual “growth” using HGH usually only occurs in the hands and feet. Will the releasers or the sprays also increase hand and feet size?
Best answer:
Answer by JBLove
HGH the injection will make every cell in your body bigger.
That is the mode of action. It doubles the cells – that is why body builders use them., doubles the muscle cells. bigger, stronger ….. It will make your hands, feet, chin the first thing you notice. The sprays and supplements are indeded to make your body to produce more HGH, so the effects are less dramatic.

Question by guitarman: What percentage of MLB players do you think are still using steroids and HGH?
MLB testing standards are lax. On top of that, players can easily beat the tests through a number of methods. And on top of that, players such as A-Rod have even admitted being tipped off before random tests. So, knowing all of that, what percentage of MLB players do you think are still using anabolic steroids and HGH?
Best answer:
Answer by baseball245245
i dont think many are still juicing. many that play, have, but i doubt many still are. many people think alot are. some go through tests for it 3 times a week. like pujols for example. i remember last year on espn i think, he had 4 tests in one weeks and 12 in one month. clean every time.
there are still on it tho, and that will never change ever in baseball.

Question by Adam: what are good things to eat that increase production of HGH?
i’ve been doing growing exercises i found online that are part of a book with other “growing secrets”. one of the things in it is a list of foods and things that help promote HGH to help you grow. i was wondering if anyone knew of anything along those lines. i’d really like to grow a couple inches and my parents won’t consider asking my doctor about it. i’m not just complaining, i’m 17 and i haven’t really grown since i was 12 or 13. so any and all tips would be appreciated.

Green leafy vegetables (kale, etc) and bananas. Both are nutrient-dense, and will help you reach your full growth potential, but not do much to add to your overall height.

Question by joe: Under what circumstances could a doctor legally prescribe hgh?
A doctor can’t just prescribe hgh to a short person, right? The person has to actually be gh deficient? If that is true, wouldn’t it be possible for a tall person to be gh deficient? What are some of the signs and symptoms of someone who is gh deficient (except short stature)?
What else can hgh do besides increase height? Does it have any effect on the facial muscles, arms, wrists, neck, ears?
Best answer:
Answer by David D
Actually, if a child is short a doctor can prescribe GH, even if that is the only complaint. Problem is it is very expensive and insurance companies tend to not cover it. There can be causes of GH defic. such as head trauma or cancers which would be more likely to be covered by insurances.

Question by Sandy S: How can HGH Therapy be useful for anti aging? Are there any side effects of this therapy?

Best answer:
Answer by ref_praveen
It is a demand of our society to have smooth and clear complexion which is is an attribute of physical attractiveness. People nowadays are prone to fashion and fitness and like to maintain their healthy regimes.
HGH is Human Growth Hormone. The important function of this hormone is to stimulate growth by cell reproduction.HGH has an important role in a child’s growth process and for maintaining proper metabolism in adult human beings.
For adults, this therapy is carried out in three ways: using HGH injection, using oral sprays or using natural herbal HGH releasers.
In general there is no such side effects of this therapy. But its overdose can cause problems like
1. Gynecomastia (enlarged breasts in males)
2. Acromegaly
3. water retention and carpal tunnel syndrome, etc.

Question by Some Dude: What are different ways to stimulate the pituitary gland to produce HGH?
I know that working out is one of them, what are other ways to produce HGH? And i also heard once that when your body cools quickly, putting you in a little bit of shock, like when you jump into a cold pool, your body produces HGH, is that plausible?
Best answer:
Answer by gymrat
Supplmentation
By that I mean “cooperative” safe supplementation. Cooperative in that the supplement cooperates with the body’s natural feedback mechanism. As an example I’ve supplemented with HGA human growth agent for several years now and have enjoyed elevated HGH levels. I know because I’ve track it with regular blood draws. There is a lot of confusion and misinformation around HGH supplements. Good ones work because they act as signaling mechanisms encouraging the body to increase hgh production naturally.

Question by Nightsoar: How long should I be on hgh before taking an igf blood test?
I want to test if my igf levels have raised. How long should I be on hgh before taking a blood test?
Best answer:
Answer by Black
Initially, it’s recommended that you take the product for about 6 months to bring your body’s HGH production levels up. At this time, you may wish to take a “pause” of up to 1 year, while you continue to enjoy the benefits of increased HGH.
